DR. EILEEN Y. JANG - General Dentist

"I was forced into a dental career when I was only 5 years old.  I needed to hide a cavity from my dentist.  So, I performed my first filling on my own tooth by coloring over the cavity with a white Crayola crayon.  My skills and techniques have improved dramatically since attending dental school.  Having been scared of dentists as a kid, I want to make sure no one is scared while in my hands."

Dr. Jang graduated from the University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, in 1984 with B.Sc. and D.D.S. degrees . 

As required by all registered dentists in Alberta, Dr. Jang keeps up to date on  current  philosophies  and techniques in dentistry by attending continuing educational courses. Dr. Jang really enjoys practicing general dentistry.  What she values the most is the wisdom passed on to her by her wonderful patients by working on their teeth, or from the patients sharing their own life experiences with her over the years during their dental visits.  Dr. Jang realizes that no amount of formal education could ever teach her what her patients have taught her, and she is forever grateful for that.

When she's not practicing dentistry, Dr. Jang performs stage magic for charity and community events. She also composes music, is an avid runner, and enjoys being a mother to three mischievous children.
